The New Children’s Museum focuses on contemporary art and offers hands-on activities, educational programmes, and art projects that allow children to learn and design in a fun and exciting environment.
The museum has thoughtfully created the space to allow an enjoyable experience for the whole family, with a special area for infants to get away from the noise with their parents, an on-site café, relaxing seating areas, and a park located just outside the museum. You should plan for at least 2 hours to enjoy all the exhibits located in the museum.

Highlights of The New Children's Museum
There are a plethora of activities to keep children of all ages entertained at The New Children’s Museum. In "No Rules….Except," visitors young and old can jump and crawl around a space filled with more than 40 mattresses and 160 pillow tyres. There is a special area available here for children 4 and under.
The "Sketch Aquarium" allows children to scan their sea life drawings and have them come to life in a virtual, life-size aquarium. Guests can then watch their creatures eat virtual food or swim away when touched. Additional exhibits include "Wobbleland," "The Wonder Sound," "Wammock!," and many more.

When you’re ready for a bite to eat, you can stop by The New Children's Museum's on-site café, Bean Sprouts, where you can order kid-friendly meals prepared with healthy ingredients or enjoy your own food brought from home. You can also find a list of nearby restaurants that offer a discount with proof of your visit.
The museum offers an area to park your strollers, a private nursing area, and lockers to store your belongings during your visit. While you're in the area, you may also enjoy a visit to Ruocco Park or USS Midway Museum.
