Galveston

Galveston is a coastal community on a barrier island off the Texas mainland. It boasts one of the most impressive collections of historic buildings in the whole of the USA. They are seemingly wherever you look, from the Grand 1894 Opera House to the enjoyably eerie-looking Bishop’s Palace, which dates back to the 19th century. 

Being an island city, Galveston offers easy access to sandy beaches fronting the Gulf of Mexico, such as East Beach, Galveston Beach, and Porretto Beach. The immense pyramids of Moody Gardens feature rainforest wildlife, exotic plants, and immersive theatre experiences. For families, there are science exhibitions that’ll expand the minds of both kids and adults.
