The Fountains of Bellagio show is one of the star attractions at Las Vegas's Bellagio hotel, where the music, water, and lights combine in an impressive choreographed performance for visitors. You can visit the fountains in the day, but they really spring to life at night, taking on an entirely different look. Spanning more than 1,000 feet and spraying upwards of 460 feet into the air, the fountains can't be missed.

Whether you're spending the weekend at the hotel, trying your luck on the casino floors, or just passing by, you can catch the scintillating show that happens each night. It takes about an hour to appreciate beauty fully, but you can spend all evening getting lost in the atmosphere created by the cool music, lights, and accompanying water performance.

History of Fountains of Bellagio
The Bellagio fountains, which are amongst the world's most famous tourist centers, came to the scene in October of 1998. They were designed by WET Design, known for creating many iconic fountains around the world, in conjunction with Steve Wynn. The fountains' role from their earliest days has been to attract visitors to the Bellagio. Although it has since been surpassed, this collection of fountains was once the world's largest and is set in an 8-acre artificial lake.
Bellagio is an Italian name that, when translated to English, means "a nice place to stay," and the hotel and fountains get their name from a resort town located on the Lake Como shores in Northern Italy. At its opening, the Bellagio attracted over 15,000 people.
