Our stay at Gora Hanougi was wonderful - the staff went above and beyond to look after us and we had the most delicious and beautifully-presented evening meal and breakfast. The traditional Japanese beds were comfortable and it was amazing to have a private onsen in our room with a view of the mountains. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Japan and probably the nicest place we've ever stayed - wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here!

Their staff show great care in their customer service and hospitality to ensure you feel welcomed for your stay. The kaiseki meals provided are beautifully plated and expertly prepared to fill your tummy with the most yummy Japanese selection of dishes. It made for a magical one night stay for us!
