I loved this little gem of a hotel. The staff is lovely and the hotel is affordable and really clean. The walls are also super thick so you don’t hear the baseball games that might happen across the street. I also loved the location. The street is quiet but metro close and so many places walkable. I’ll certainly stay here again,

Our stay at Hotel Niwa made our Japan trip exceptional! As American travelers in our early 30s, we found this place to be a gem in Tokyo.

Its prime location, just a 5-minute walk from a JR line, made navigating Tokyo incredibly convenient. Great location in Asakusa! Convenient to multiple train lines, food, shopping and temple grounds. Rooms are bigger than anticipated but minimal storage, no drawers and small closet. Premier lounge was a pleasant surprise and appreciated. 4th floor izakaya style food court was not up to par and disappointing, chose elsewhere to eat. Kobe restaurant is over priced and seldom busy. Uniglo store was a great! Don Quixote is a tourist trap and overpriced! Recommend and would return.

This timeframe allows visitors to enjoy budget-friendly attractions such as temples, museums, monuments, and beautiful urban parks. Additionally, guests can experience the vibrant shopping scene and savor the local seafood, making it a great value for money trip while soaking in the rich culture of Tokyo.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers a range of options for travelers to Tokyo. You may discover appealing hotel deals by exploring Deals , and if you're planning a spontaneous trip, Last-Minute Dealsopens in new window could reveal discounted rates on select Tokyo accommodations. With the Smart Shopping tool now available via the app, you’re more likely to compare hotel prices and amenities effectively. Travelers can also opt to receive email alerts or push notifications for flash sales and special promotions, ensuring timely updates on the availability of their preferred hotels.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal on your stay in a Tokyo hotel. If you're interested in a unique experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalized touch and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If it turns out to be on the higher side, we may recommend alternative dates that could lead to more affordable options.
Consider your location: Hotels near the city center usually tend to be pricier, but thanks to Tokyo's outstanding public transportation system, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel located further away that remains well-connected. For those interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighborhoods or even nearby lesser-known cities, there is often great value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations can provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
