First, the good:
Reside is in a great location and the staff are very kind and helpful, especially Aaliyah at the front desk. Our two-bedroom suite was very large and reasonably clean. The kitchen was well-appointed. It was also great having laundry and a dishwasher in the unit.
The not as good:
I paid extra for early checkin, but the room wasn’t ready when I arrived. When I was able to check in an hour later, the door code didn’t work. Aaliyah had to let me in with a key.
The door code issue was fixed later that afternoon. The next morning, I discovered the shower in my bathroom wasn’t working. Since there are two bathrooms in the suite, this wasn’t the end of the world, but still. I let Aaliyah know and she had someone fix it while I was at work.
That evening, I discovered neither the living room floor lamp nor the TV were working. I also noticed the screws had popped out of the wall for one of the bedside lamps. And, despite there being little signs in both bedrooms instructing us to enjoy a white noise machine, only one bedroom had one. I let Aaliyah know. She said she would look into the issues except for the white noise machine, because that was an extra perk and the unit only comes with one. This was unfortunate, because the staff room was across the hall from our suite and staff like to have loud conversations in there, with the door open, at all hours. The second white noise machine would have been helpful.
