Little disconcerting on the breakfast. Advertised to start at 6am, which was good, had to get an early start. They offered eggs but were none prepared yet. The woman who did breakfast was there and when i asked her about it, she said that she was not supposed to clock in until 630am so that we the eggs were not ready. To me that was very strange to not have your breakfast person on the job at 6am, if not earlier, since breakfast starts at 6am.

Not a good visit back home
When I checked in everything went well or so I thought. I go to my room, it was a ground floor room so the first thing I check is to make sure window is locked. I pulled the window and it opens up so I try to lock it but the lock does not work. I went back to the desk and spoke to the guy who checked me in and he said he would call maintenance to see if they can fix it or he can move me to another room but it won’t be on the ground floor. He said he would call maintenance so I went back to room and waited about an hour and no one came, so I went to the desk and some other man was there working now. I explained to him the situation and he said that maintenance and the previous desk person had all gone home for the day. He was very apologetic and I could tell he felt bad about the situation and he said he could moved me to another room (what other choice did I have) and it was on the 3rd floor. The room was very nice. I was very tired because I had driven 10 hours because my Mother is ill and was in the ICU at the hospital. It is not the first time I’ve had an issue with the clerk. I always stay at this Hotel and is my favorite ( in my hometown where I was born and raised) but sometimes I have to travel alone and have to be safe, not sleep in a room where the window does not lock and the clerk does not take care of business before going home. The rest of my stay was very unsettling and stressful.
