I LOVE this little motel. Yes, it’s just as old as Seaside, but that’s the nostalgia. You really are OceanFront and above the dunes where you can see. The beds are raised too, so if you’re short or disabled, I would skip here. The front lobby is perfect and the service is wonderful. She is so thoughtful and kind. Don’t stay here if you’re expecting a resort. This is a 1950’s motel. And it’s lovely. Centrally located between the prom and aquarium. Service Animals Only so rooms are clean and quiet. Best view of the lighthouse and ocean

The hotel was fine. I paid for an upgraded corner room where on line it looked like you had a better view of the ocean. We were given a corner room with a view of a sand dune. That was disappointing. The room was adequate and the bed very comfortable.

We loved the property itself. The beds were comfortable, there was tons of room, the heat worked great and the view (left side, 2nd floor was incredible! The guests on one side of us were pretty noisy in the evening and the family on the other side were noisy in the mornings.
