I would recommend this hotel if you dont mind stairs and dont need any help from the staff. There is a lift but there are still so many stairs and long corridors. They were prewarned I was disabled getting to and from our 2 double bedded family room (which was nice, clean, quiet) with 2 young children, pushchair and luggage was awful. Not once would they offer to help, even watched us struggling! Steps up to the front reception. Steps down to the lift. Many sets of stairs up to the room ( 1 had stair lift which we had to lift the pushchair over) long corriders.
Exhausted we were happy to see the clean family room with 2 comfy double beds and a large bathroom. Very welcomed. Tv in room but reception awful, couldnt watch it.
We booked this hotel for the Air show and the parking which was at the back of the hotel, garages £15 a night. I eventually was allowed to park by the garages which was easier for my disabilities. Make crystal clear in a email your requirements. I paid a whopping £155 for 1 night (Airshow price) so i did expect a little welcome and help. Expedia didnt help with thier invoice system The hotel was very convenient as ran parallel to the centre of the flight display 5min walk which was fantastic. Lots of restaurants, cafes etc etc close by.
