The room and the hotel were clean enough. They can do some deep cleaning every month though like the sides on the floor. Parking was easy and safe but I wish it was free for the customers. The only problem is I think they should change their curtains in the bathroom as they have brown colours on it. It is the easiest thing to do as I normally put it in the washing machine and clean mine and it’s like brand new.

The pool area was nice and clean and the room was large and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and the food in the restaurant was really nice and reasonably priced. A good distance from the costwolds makes a nice base. Parking is cheap and plentiful. A good stay. Would recommend.

Room was ok and spacious but a bit tired in places. The spa was good big pool but the jaccuzi was not great and the showers in the changing rooms not good and smell. The breakfast was extra £16.50 per person and not a great choice, not the staffs fault they were great.

When we arrived after a 6 hour drive, we were told that they had overbooked the hotel by 9 rooms. We were told to wait until they could sort something out and would book us a holiday inn if they could not work this out. They said a coach load of old people turned up and they took priority. After an hour of waiting they magically found a room for us. Upon entering the room, it was unclean, the bedding did not fit the bed and we were given dirty towels to use. The rooms were also not sound-proofed as described also. We tried the pool, which was cold - along with the hot tub - which was also cold and only 1 jet was working. There were no dressing gowns to use as described on the website and were told to pay for towels - even though the towels were dirty from out room. We booked this hotel for the reviews and for the fact we were doing a 26 mile charity walk and needing a hotel with spa facilities. Very disappointed- will be making a complaint with the hotel also.

We used this hotel as a stop over for a charity cycle me and my nephew were doing, I called ahead to make sure there was a place to store our bikes over night, when I got there they didn’t know where to put the bikes and we ended up putting them in our room! The hotel staff was very disorganised, the bar had no draught beer, no limes for 3 Corona’s they had left. The food was very standard and over priced. My room was so hot with a clunky fan which was about as my use as a chocolate teapot! No coffee sachets in the room for the morning. The shower dribbled at best and there was no extractor fan so this heated up the room even more. We didn’t stay for the £14 breakfast as I was afraid it would have been a waste of money. The leisure centre had a stupid rule that they didn’t allow under 16’s after 6, if it didn’t take 20 minutes to check in my nephew and I would have been ok to use the pool after a 75 mile ride!! It makes me so cross that there are 4 star hotel out there like this! I got a deal for £98 for a twin room but honestly I think the premier Inn down the road would have been a better choice!

Friendly check in with Dylan and Aiden. Modern style hotel, very spacious. With a health club and spa which we didn’t have time to use but we could see people arriving to make use of. Good size restaurant and bar area. Menu a little limited for the restaurant but it was okay. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom clean although shower not very powerful. It was an overnight stop so more than okay for that. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We didn't have breakfast. The room was clean and beds comfy, but the shower was very weak and kept falling forward so difficult to use. The pool is warm and usually nice but a large group of teenagers took over the pool and we had to leave as my daughter became anxious. Previously we have enjoyed the pool.
