We booked three rooms for a party of seven. These comprised myself and my wife, my Japanese parents in law, my two adult sons, and my mother. Our request was for two twins and a triple (i.e. an extra bed in a twin room). We were given two doubles and a triple. Now how would you arrange that family group so that everyone was happy? Two boys in a room with their grandmother? My wife or I sharing a bed with my mother while the other shared the triple with our sons? I don't know if this was the fault of the hotel, but I suspect the booking agency (Expedia) was to blame. The staff tried hard to resolve the situation, but the first night, my sons ended up sharing a double bed, which they were NOT happy about. Further, the lift broke down a couple of times, and we had to use the staff lift. Other than that, a nice place to stay! Breakfas buffet was excellent, and there was complimentary Prosecco and some delicious apples on check-in. Staff were courteous, helpful and friendly.
