It was a run-down apartment in an even more run-down building. There was a persistent smell of curry inside. The appliances were functional but very minimal. The beds were uncomfortable. The towels were hard and had an unpleasant smell. The main living room had a single radiator, which was insufficient given the constant heat loss through the door to the backyard.
Despite a dozen emails and WhatsApp messages, an additional heater was never delivered, even after two nights. All communication details and photos have been kept for record.
