Awesome
It’s a neat place but the walls are really thin. You can hear everyone in the surrounding rooms and the hallway. Having said that, the staff is great. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. And it’s in the middle of a quaint little town. And the history of the inn is amazing. I would definitely stay here again but would request not to be next to anyone.

I realize it’s an old quaint inn but the electrical wiring situation is not good. Multiple things are plugged into extension cords which appears to be a safety hazard. I had to unplug the TV to be able to plug the coffee pot in. The location is convenient though for activities in Littleton and the bed was comfortable.

A historic old hotel
This place was built in 1843 and has seen many changes and upgrades over the decades. It’s in surprisingly good shape but still an old building. It’s clean and the staff is great. It has amazing history and lots of charm. But it’s comfortable enough and the price is right! Keep all this mind and you’ll enjoy it.

Cozy historic hotel on Littleton's main Street. Nice clean room, a little dated but that was part of the charm. Only real negative was the slow wifi. Front desk staff member was nice!

A bit down at the heels but conveniently located.
The room and bathroom was clean. The property is old. The old radiators dont work. The hotel provides electric radiators for each room. The bed was comfortable. There is not a lot of space. There is enough room to walk around the king bed. There is a tub/shower, sink and toilet in the small bathroom. The television is a flat screen on the wall. The staff are pleasant and helpful. There is no elevator. It was nice that a gentleman guest helped me bring down a suitcase while my husband was getting our car. The hotel is in the middle of the main street which is convenient to stores and a couple of breakfast spots though the hotel offers the makings of a cold breakfast and coffee and tea. The cleaning staff is very nice and helpful.

The historic hotel was, 1843 awesomeness. Wavy floors etc. And well worth a stay. Right down town on the water with great view off the balcony.

We love history and the Thayer qualifies being 180 years old. Our second floor room was no frills. Not unlike a college dorm room. The winding stairs from first to second floor were deadly. Anyone physically challenged would have a difficult time. Harry from housekeeping was a saint.

Historical place with relative charm but in need of a significant renovation if planning to continue operating. The odor of the room was intolerable, it literally rained in from the ceiling during the night. The presented pictures of the room is definitely misleading. On the bright side, the staff was extremely kind and accommodating.
