Entering the lobby things looked promising, the La Quinta lobby had a modern feel and flair. However, when we entered the room, the room had a very musty smell to it and the rugs had numerous spots throughout the room making it look dirty and unappealing. Also the couch, which was the sofa sleeper where my son was going to be sleeping was very dirty, especially on the arm rests and cushions. The cushions were not appealing to sit on comfortably, and they sank in without any sturdiness for my elderly mom to sleep on. Also, the dressers had damage and there was a saggy spot on the roof of the ceiling, indicating a leak. The bathroom was clean, the bed comfortable and the breakfast bar was good, but otherwise I would not return to this hotel. We only stayed because we had to, since it was graduation weekend for Baylor and there were no hotels available. Also, moving with my elderly mom was NOT an option, it was too difficult for her to move anywhere else in the short two days we would be staying. Don't stay here, there are many other options in the area that likely are better maintained than this property.
