I’m not entirely sure how old the Cambria is, but it feels relatively new, with everything in excellent condition and spotlessly clean. The staff we interacted with were exceptionally friendly and helpful, which added to the positive experience.
The only downside was its location near Rainey Street. While we chose this hotel for its proximity to the area, Rainey Street has been largely overtaken by high-rises, leaving only a few of the original bars that still retain their charm. Additionally, there’s a hotel/condo high-rise across the street with a lobby bar that plays loud music late into the night. This might be why the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs.
Overall, this is an excellent hotel, and I’d happily stay at another Cambria if they maintain this level of quality.
