The property is a good rental property where we had rented from the owners several times at the Gulf. The problem with this situation was Expedia. When we viewed the property online before renting there was no photos of the exact rental we were interested in renting and were not sure which unit or floor we would be on however we trusted Brett Robinson rentals from prior trips.
We decided to go ahead and rent and we arrived at the rental on the day of check in as planned. When we went to the desk for check-in they said there was no rental for us. They said Expedia had canceled that afternoon about 130-200 with no clear reason why. Our check in time was around 4pm. We learned later that Expedia had sent an email to us about 130 pm however we were in route to the condo at this time and had no idea Expedia had canceled our reservations.
Can you image what it was like standing in the lobby of condo and being told that we did not have a reservation. There were a lot of emotions flowing at this time and disappointment. My wife and I had planned a short trip at the beach to take it easy and relax.
We only had two choices of going home or try to locate a hotel and make the best of our plans. We spent the next hour and a half trying to find a hotel and finally found a fairly nice one who had a room available.
I will sum it all up in a few words. We will never use Expedia for any travel plans in the future. Their communications in all forms were poor if not unacceptable.

Everything was great and I would definitely chose Phoenix East 2 again!
