Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with this place. We had a long day driving through South Dakota, and we needed a place to rest.
We wanted a nice place to lay our heads down and continue our journey in the morning. But instead they were not able to check us in and we were forced to drive another 2.5 hours to another hotel.
It was not because of network malfunction or the lack of rooms. Instead it was training deficiency. Where there host does not even know how to log into the computer. Me and several guests had to call Holiday Inn Express Corporate for him to try and get support.
This was a incredibly unexpected experience, especially considering IHG brands hotels are usually consistent. The Corporate service was also quite lack luster, and the bad quality communication with their reps, passive aggressive attitude, and inadequate support completely shattered my perception of the Holiday Inn Express brand.
