Nice location but disappointed with the rental.
The check in process was easy, parking was good, as was the location. The condo we rented is well worn and could use some intense cleaning and updates. While the beds and bathroom were clean, the living room walls were splattered with a liquid that had run down the walls and dried, there was a substance on the bathroom door frame and lots of dust. It was not pleasant. I will share that we made a call and someone came the next day to take care of all of these issues. The young lady was apologetic and quick to take care of everything.

Design of the unit was great. The floors were dirty-we noted it after we were walking bare feet and our soles became black.They finally washed the floors on Wednesday, Oct. 23rd Telephone -no dial tone-they replaced it on Oct.24th.Some electrical outlets did not work. Dishwasher not working properly,serviceman came on Sunday Oct.27th at 6:57 PM so we declined the service as we were resting at that time. no cleaning service.I was told I had to pay to get the room cleaned and linens changed even if we stayed for 2 weeks.I showed them the services they offered and cleaning the room was part of it and I was told They emailed me about the change but did not see it when I checked my email at home.They gave me a floor mop and they made sure i had a broom and dustpan.No hot water at times- reported almost daily during our first week.Jenna was very helpful though I realize she can only do so much.They did give me the supplies when I needed them replaced.

We arrived early at 1130 and front desk said they would get us in asap. Check in is at 4pm. 345 we we told by a rude woman that check in starts when they are done cleaning and housekeeping was currently in our room. 4pm is just a number. this was told to many others as well, left just in limbo.We were told they would call us, 430 we went back and room was ready, no call and woman was rude again. We were told rooms were individually owned, so I am not 100% how this works. Our room was clean, and looked nice. However we realized quickly it needed a lot of maintenance. Safe did not work, shower flooded the bathroom every time, TV's were old, remotes did not work. Bathroom was dingy, and there was absolutely no beach cups, beach towels, etc. There was security walking around, but people were smoking weed from their balconies. The hotel stated it had 2 bars in their add, pool bar and a separate lounge/bar. Not true, only pool bar and it was not open Mon/Tue when were there. The area around the hotel was good, restaurant across the street was fantastic Lulu's. Also the Water Station was incredible for food, so good restaurants around to eat in walking close distance. The overall quality was just ok. The beach area was nice and close. so that was probably the highlight. We would not stay again.

We had the best stay and will now book at the Camelot every time we come to the beach. View was 100000/10. I felt safe as a mom with two kids under 10. Pools were amazing. Kids had the best time and didn’t want to leave the hotel. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

I would have gave all 5 stars. Except for the uncomfort sleeping. The third bed which is a sofa bed is in need of a new one. The frame rusty mattress wore out they don’t provide pillows or a blanket. I reported to the maintenance and he come to replace the mattress the day we check out. It’s a really nice hotel but need some upgrades on furniture

We stayed in a 1 bedroom condo. It was surprisingly spacious compared to other resorts I have stayed at Myrtle. The amenities were perfect to enjoy & make memories with my 2 yr old granddaughter. Grounds were beautifully kept. Location perfect for walking boardwalk or street side, for just a stroll, shopping or dining. Parking garage, you park on your floor, up to the 10th floor, so no walking across the street for parking. Also we saw security daily, which was nice to keep the grounds and pool area safe. Adults could enjoy the amenities as well, no rowdiness and rough housing from the kiddos allowed! We will be back 2025, with a larger group, so reserving a 3 bedroom condo, can’t wait. Thank you Camelot by the Sea for a memorable stay!

The property was very clean and the room was in the best condition, very clean, close to shops and restaurants. I also like being able to leave my room and my car was nearby. The only dislike is that the garage was a little tight maneuvering around....several times, I had to back up for another vehicle to get by.... The front desk had great customer service and very informative.

We would return again. Our unit was great. Ocean view, full kitchen, small table to eat and small sofa. Good for families. Easy beach access and multiple pools. Also they had security there in the parking garage and near the pools. Unfortunately we stayed during a tropical storm so outdoor pools were closed.

I liked that all rooms are oceanfront and convenient parking garage right outside the door. Our condo was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The small kitchen had everything we needed and the hardwood floors were so much better with all the sand coming from the beach. We enjoyed the pools and the lazy river all were the perfect temperature. I wished the pool side bar was open longer for after dinner drinks. Overall it was a great value stay.

2/10 (不満)

I’m not sure why anyone would give this above one star - it was absolutely disgusting. The staff was indeed friendly, and there was plenty of parking, but that was about it. They checked us in late (at 4pm when they hadn’t called to say our room was ready, I called them and they told me it wasn’t ready yet and that check in “started at 4.” We all know that’s not true so I asked if I could “start checking out at 10am then”) Anyways, an hour later when we finally got in the room, it was so dirty and gross. The carpets had multiple red stains all over them (I’m guessing red wine but it was conjuring blood in our minds), the wallpaper was peeling, there were crumbs in the bedsheets, the kitchen had rust everywhere…but the coup d’etat was when we were going to sleep and my husband saw a live roach in the kitchen (which then crawled between the appliances before I could kill it.) My teen started screaming. “I’m not sleeping here!!” over and over (of course we didn’t have a choice.) We laid awake all night and in the morning I went downstairs to tell Virginia (the supervisor) about our experience. I will say - I give her 5 stars - she handled the whole thing (and me) like a pro and with kindness, and ended up completely fixing the situation by contacting Vacasa and having us moved to another (cleaner) hotel. It was a hassle to have to move, but the rest of our stay was much better. But both she and Vacasa did make it very easy to at least improve our bad situation. Never again.

Our door code to our room did not work 3 different times and maintenance had to keep coming up and getting us a new code while we stood in the heat locked out for 1/2 an hour each time. The bathroom light did not work but we weren’t in our room long enough to care. Mainly just used it to sleep. We did find what looked like a black eye glasses cleaner wrapped up in our sheets/ blankets so not sure if it was washed with the blankets or left from the previous people. There was also a plastic bag on the balcony with what looked like a pair of underwear in it, we did not touch it. The coffee pot on the counter was so dirty as soon as we got there. Thank god we didn’t use any of the cooking utensils or things that were left in the room. Kind of made us doubt if our room was even cleaned before we arrived. The parking garage is so small and hard to park in if you’ve got a bigger car/truck. The hotel was in a great location though. Right around everything fun to do. The staff were friendly. We won’t be staying there again because of all the problems with our room.
