This hotel meets my basic standards of "clean, safe and secure," but the service is among the worst that I've had the displeasure of experiencing in recent history. It started at check-in, when the person checking us in seemed to not understand that we had two rooms on the reservation. We clarified that and got checked in. We then had to check out and back in the next day (we needed to extend the trip last minute so booked another reservation rather than having to chancel/remake the reservation we had) and once again, the person had trouble understanding that there were two rooms, even when shown the reservation info, and the response was "call Expedia." That's when we realized that there was a different name on the second room and he gave a sarcastic "oh why didn't you say so," clearly he was already looking at the info on the screen and couldn't be bothered to say "is there possibly another name on the reservation?" Also, our rooms were not cleaned/serviced the entire time (4 nights) we were there - nightly or every other is standard unless there's a sign or you're advised otherwise, we just got back late each night to find the same dirty towels we'd left in the morning. We ended up getting more towels from the front desk, but what a pain. The price/convenience of location is good, and at no point was I concerned about getting robbed or catching bed bugs, but they could at least pretend to want the business.
