Lovely and fantastic location
Great location and sweet hotel with lots of character and charm. I stayed here at the end of a long trip and mostly loved it, but they advertise laundry services and did not actually have laundry and it negatively impacted me. Room was also a little dark.

We stayed at the junior suit. Large compared to the usual hotel rooms in this area. Close to Catalonia square and to public transportation. The only thing we didn’t like was the poor breakfast but on the second day we just went outside and had a nice breakfast at a coffee shop nearby.

Convenient, comfortable, with great period details
Very nice hotel, loved the period details of the building, huge room with 2 street view balconies, very convenient with metro stop about a block away. Bathroom was clean and very nice with lots of counter space. Very large armoire was great. Shutters and curtains helped keep the room cool. Would have liked AC to be a bit better- we had it maxed and the room was comfortable but would have preferred it cooler for sleeping. Mattresses were ok but not great- a little saggy- but functional. Just a couple of doors away from the hotel are good cafes for breakfast and snacks. Would stay here again.

The location of the Hotel Nouvel is absolutely perfect. The staff is super helpful and friendly. During check in we got all the information that we need it as well as the assistance with all possible reservations on the spot with the tickets. Breakfast choices are fantastic. I would stay here again. My only complaint was being told (after using it for two days with apparently nobody noticing) quite rudely that we couldn’t take the staircase that went directly to our room because it was for emergency use only despite there being no signage indicating that.

I liked the glass elevator & the style of the rooms. Our bed was comfortable. I didn't like that it was so hot in the hallway & elevator. Staff was friendly - always available. I didn't care for the lifeguard who made me take my floatation mattress out of the pool when there was 6 people in it & the previous day I was using it with about 20 people in the pool. Food & drinks were overpriced at the pool. I wouldn't pay for the buffet again. I suppose it was just fine for the price but I wouldn't stay there again.
