It's not a room, it's a House.
The room is quite large and comfort. There's a kitchen, laundry, TV in bedroom, USB power bus right next to the bed...
It was great and I definitely recommend this hotel.
Went to see a concert - was a convenient place to stay and family w as comfortable.

Disappointed
Very disappointed with the Meriton. Most hotels have a check in at 2pm but the Meriton isn`t till 3pm. We got there to check in at 3.15 and the line up was out the door to check in ,they seem to have the longest check in computer system out, and when we finally got to check in we were told that our room wasn’t ready. When you have been on the road for hours all you want is to rest up. Also the lifts are the slowest lifts in the world. Won`t stay here again.

Time Consuming Check In
Check-in was time consuming Allocated a room that was not made up, second room's bathroom was not clean, particularly around the toilet. Staff were helpful and 3rd room was comfortable and clean.

Having stayed at this hotel several times previously, it was disappointing to find the entrance area looking like a war zone with massive works going on next door. I appreciate this is something outside the control of Meriton however, until works are completed it doesn’t make for a great welcome.
What is within Meriton’s control is room cleanliness - which in this case left a lot to be desired. The floors had grubby marks and spills on them, the bathroom needs a good scrub (not a casual wipe-over) and the kitchen cupboard doors were all greasy from previous guests’ cooking. Not great - and certainly not what I’ve experienced previously with Meriton. Standards have slipped!
Staff were very helpful, courteous and professional.

The experience at this property is not for everyone. Communication regarding how to use technology with lift access, car parking and overall property access is unwelcoming.
Design features of this property, such as a shower curtain that allows for the entire bathroom floor becoming wet are not enjoyable, if you need to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom-where the floor is still wet.
Construction on the surrounding property makes access a nightmare, and customers should be advised that there is zero access to the property access of 330 Church Street Parramatta-the new light rail has cut off all Church access to this property.
This would be more than handy to know pre-arrival in the dark - with the most updated Sat/Nav still sending customers in circles.
My suggestion would be to have some Meriton staff unfamiliar with this site and location travel to the site at night and experience what they are putting their customers through if Meriton values return patronage.
Sorry Meriton I think you have lost me for a return visit.
