Birthday getaway
When we arrived which was around 12:30, we were told by Ben, the front desk staff, our room was not ready and that check in time was 3pm. We said fine and we would go shopping and call later to see if the room was ready. Just when we arrived at the mall, which was within a few minutes, he called to say our room was ready.
On the day of checkout, we asked if we could have a late checkout possibly,12:30. He told us we couldnt stay any later than 12:30 because he already had people waiting to check in, even though we were told the day before we couldnt check in until 3. I brought that to his attention but he told me that he had an entire hotel to flip. He asked us for our room number and when we quietly told him, he said our last name rather loudly.
His attitude toward us had a lot to be desired..this was our first time staying at this hotel and we are hilton reward members. The rest of the front desk staff, including maintenence, was very polite and professional.
The wallpaper was peeling a bit in our room and it was extremely hot in our room even though i turned the thermostat down to 67.
The condition of the hotel is good, very clean and conveniently located to shopping and restaurants.
