공사중 한가운데 방에서 묵었다
전체 객실을 공사중이였고 그 공사장 가운데 먼저 완성된 방이 우리방이였다. 공사소리는 나지 않았지만 방마다 전체공사중이여서 냄새가 났고 심지어 방도 새로 세팅되어서 깨끗하긴 했지만 페인트 냄새가 빠지지 않았다. 미리 알았다면 예약하지 않았을것이다. 공사장 가운데서 자고나온 느낌

Hotel in maintenance, minimum furniture in the room, no laundry, no heated pool. The staff is very caring though.

Worth giving it a chance
So… my room was great. Updated and clean. Comfortable and good location. Front desk was really helpful. The whole property is being renovated and based on my room, it will be really nice. Just know that currently (Oct 2024), not all the property looked great. Give it a shot though. A little rough still on the exterior but the room was great.

Toller Service, Zimmer ok
Gerade im Umbau, was ja nicht schlecht ist, da die Anlage so in Schuss gehalten wird. Kein Baulärm. Die Anlage selbst ist in Ordnung, die Zimmer zweckdienlich. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Service an der Rezeption. Dieser war wirklich sehr gut und sehr freundlich.

Being updated but what has been done is good
The King Size room I booked was well appointed and modern. Everything was very clean. Some parts of the hotel are being updated so the stairway seemed to have paint on it tho the corridors were fine. The pool is currently not in use. It’s small but adequate. The area it was in looked fine. The reception and staff were was well done. The restaurant opens in about six weeks approx. Car park well marked. There is no lift but the staff took my heavier bag up for me.

I wish we knew about the renovations before booking, we booked for the pool for our kids, the shower was dirty and the bathroom floor still had dust from the renovations. The bedroom and linen and was amazing, the reception was great. Once the renovations are completed I am sure the place will be amazing.

They are in the middle of renovations when we stayed so the whole place is not quite ready. Not a big deal for us though. In saying that it is evident that the room was put together in a hurry. The room was clean/tidy but not spotless and the net curtains smelled. The beds were true-to-size and very comfortable though. For some reason, there was no fridge in our room but saw other rooms had them. The room is also quite bare (no microwave, no spare towels or bedding and no air conditioning). All in all value-for-money budget accommodation.

Currently under refurbishment. Could eventually be good but currently a construction zone. I would recommend everyone to stay clear of this place until work is complete. Pool is full of green slime. Public areas all very dusty. Shower did not drain properly. We couldn’t enter car park to check in as driveway was blocked with orange cones. Very inconvenient when needing to offload luggage. Trash bins had not been emptied from the previous guests in the room. No fridge in room - just an empty space where fridge should be. Wish I had never booked this place.

Currently Marsden Stay is under going a make over. This however did not impact my stay at all. The room I stayed in had been renovated and was lovely and clean. Not all amenities were accessible as portrayed on this site. Pools were closed. Laundry unusable. Nil on-site dining available. Room was tidy upon arrival. First in first served parking.
