The hotel is in the heart of a lot. Step outside turn the corner and its all right there. The staff if super nice and will look after you. The hotel itself is in good condition and kept well. Hot water was good it has an upstairs terrace where you can get some sun on one of the lounge chairs. It really is a restful hotel and for being so close to everything it's quiet. You just hear the birds chirping in the morning. But there is no Street noise no screaming no yelling. Just an all in all nice place.

Value for money
Mohamed has been great, always trying his best to make us feel comfortable. The choice of breakfast is quite limited even though it varies every day. Being in the center of the Medina (old town), the area getting to the Riad is poor with dirty roads. The Riad offers all the basic for a good short stay. Overall it’s good value for the money.

This building was built in about 2017 and is much newer than the surrounding homes, but the footprint is exactly that of a traditional style Riad with rooms surrounding a courtyard and a rooftop terrace. I chose it because I knew the plumbing and electrical and bathroom fixtures would all be in good working order. The builder used tasteful and refined stylistic elements with lovely Moroccan furnishings. A perfect blend between contemporary and traditional. The only caveat is you need to walk about 15-18 minutes to get to the main square. However the way there is colorful and interesting. there are a cluster of nighttime restaurants within 5 minutes of the road and then the rest are at the main square. Pro-tip - GoogleMaps will not navigate the narrow winding streets. Only the app Maps.me will work AND you need to download a map of Marrakech before your trip. The app navigates without WiFi which is perfect BUT it is not the most user friendly interface. Takes som getting used to.

Decent but horrible location
Location of the hotel is very very difficult to find. Our taxi took us to two different places because Google maps doesnt show the location correctly. Difficult to go to the city center from this Riad.

We stayed in 4 different places during our time in Morocco and this was our favourite! First, the host Abdel is so kind and knowledgeable, he provided several recommendations and created a very comfortable environment for us. The riad itself is beautiful - very calm, clean and well-kept, a great escape from the chaos of the Medina just down the street. The location is perfect, right on the edge of the Medina so you’re walking distance from the main attractions but also just next door to Gueliz for a more “modern-day” view of Marrakech. Finally, I read several reviews noting the place was hard to find but we had no issues finding it. The location on Google maps is accurate and there are a couple signs in the alley pointing you in the right direction. Highly recommend staying here!

We spent there 4 nights and we felt very safe. Our rooms was daily cleaned and I appreciate it! Abdel Azar's english is very good and he offered us lots of information about were to go in Marrakech and what to visit. They also offered us airport transfer which was great and super easy for us, I recommend it if you do not want to lose time looking for taxi or trying to negociate a good price (we paid €30 return transfer for 2 person). Overall I can say the riad is a loveky cosy place and for this money is the best you can get. The only minus would be the breakfast. It was included but I was surprised to see that every morning wr had almost the same things, however not even once eggs or yogurt or cereals. So we had daily: coffee, 1 small glass of orange juice, 10 gr. butter, 1 Danone spreadable cheese, 2 types of jam(~80 grams together) and bread. Only in one day we had two peaches but the bread provided on that day was less then usually. Each day had a spaciat marrocan pastry like crape or their bread with polenta (I don't know the name). On the last day we also had 2 slices of cake and mint tea. However, the food was not enough for two people. I am skinny and I do not eat that much but still...If they can improve this will be great! The reason why I gave them 5 stars, leaving this bad experience with breakfast, is because the riad's staff was so kind with us and we really enjoyed staying there. They did their best and I appreciate a lot those people!
