The bed was clean and comfortable - but only one thin blanket during the colder spring evening, so it wasn't warm enough to relax and rest. The metal bars of the bed frame were protruding far enough that if I tried to get out of the bed for anything I hit my shins on the sharp edges. Even with the heating (?) system turned up to 74 the room did not warm up. The people next door were up until after 0300 hrs, their conversation and occasional yelling going right through the uninsulated walls. I made the mistake of taking my shoes off once inside and my feet stuck to the flooring. The mirrors were smeared, water all over the floor of the bathroom when we walked in and only one partial roll of TP? No spares and no tissues? Take a look at the roof and you see a significant portion of the shingles peeling off. I've been halfway around the world and back again, and having had to hang my hat in some rather compromising conditions. But when I pay for my Wife to be with me, who is a patient and versatile woman, I expect that at least the basics of a clean room, a clean rest room and a warm berth be available. With caulking and grime, noise and a cold berth, we slept better on the road in our truck. Thanks, but no thanks.
