BYOC - bring your own coffee
Room was good, and comfortable. The biggest issue was no access to coffee before 3 pm for guests unless you pay for the full breakfast buffet?? Never been to a hotel that doesn't offer coffee to guests or gives a small coffee maker or even just a kettle in each room. This very small but very important amenity can make or break the comfort of a stay.

Very convenient for travelling around and about Kyoto. Right by the Nishi market area. But not easy to find as it is about 100 metres off Kawaramachi dori. Best to arrive by taxi initially.

Best location, great price for the comfort and con
Great location in Kyoto. Super friendly staff. Only change trash and towels every day which is totally fine with me. Didn’t eat there so can’t comment on food. I’d stay again if I want to Kyoto. It’s a perfect location. Only negative, not sure about all rooms but ours didn’t have a safe for passport, money, etc

Spacious rooms with plenty of windows that allow for privacy but also lots of sunlight. Rooms are well air conditioned. Hotel buffet has yummy food with western and Japanese breakfast cuisine. Great locations from train stations but not in a super crowded area. Staff are friendly and helped me fill out the luggage delivery forms.

This hotel was fine other than the air situation. We would not have booked it had we known you have no control over the air in your room. We learned upon arriving that the heat and air is central for the hotel. They either have the air conditioning on or the heat on. We were there in December which meant heat, and it was like being on the surface of the sun. We were sweating just sitting in the room. The windows didn’t open, so we were trapped in our little oven. If you are a hot-natured person, like us, probably best not to stay here. The location is great. The hotel was very clean. The room was a good size. But it was so warm in the room we were uncomfortable for the two nights we stayed.

Housekeeping service requires improvement. Used coffee drip bags were not cleared away and a towel was left on the floor.
