The front desk, staff and housekeeping staff were very friendly and customer service oriented. My stay was comfortable and easy and efficient. For a relatively small hotel it is quite busy. Having a service elevator separate from the guest elevator would be amazing. And ensuring that there are towels available in the pool area would be amazing too. The breakfast hours being extended to 10 AM would be amazing for leisure and business stays.

It was not very good. The bathtub and sink drained too slow. I had to stand in a clogged tub while I shower which was very unsanitary. It took the water over half an hour to finally drain. I took pics of the standing water.
I woke up to several insect bites on and around my legs. I took pictures of that also.
They told me there would be no housekeeping while I was there and no one would come in my room. The very first morning, while I was sleeping, a housekeeper walked into my room.
Emma Jean at the front desk was phenomenal! Super friendly and helpful.
Overall, an extremely disappointing stay.

When I checked in the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and a great asset to your brand. After he left, I went back down for an extra blanket and the night clerk was very rude and acted like my request was a huge inconvenience to her.

Our stay was wonderful. The front desk ladies were great. They were very polite and professional, but they were also really personable. I really enjoyed chatting with them. We also took our Standard Poodle with us, and they were very accommodating. The room was clean and orderly. Comfortable beds and a really nice location.

Check in was horrible, staff was unfriendly. First room AC was not working. Mattresses in first and second room were in poor shape. Breakfast was inedible. I will never stay here again.

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times before but this time they had just under went a new management or ownership change. So the new management/owners probably have changed a few things that will have to get use to. For example, before you could check in a few minutes earlier no problem. Now check in is a hard 3pm no exceptions. If you can, explore other motels in the area.

I had plans to be at Myrtle Beach for 2 day, the Man at check in desk was pleasant to work with. Only have one ice machine on main floor. Only 1 of the 2 elevator worked. My room was absolutely filthy. I was exhausted so I found one of my beds was not slept in so I used it. The bathroom was terrible. The morning came and I went to front desk to complain and request a refund. Did not get a refund. I didn't stay another day.

The toilet had feces on it when I lifted the toilet seat. The room never got cool. The bed was sunk in the middle and it slept horrible. There was a bulb missing from the night stand light

Between this place and hotels.com, I cancelled two days before I was supposed to, but there was a glitch on their side and I was booked at two places the same day. When hotels.com reached out to La Quinta, they refused to give me a refund. They will never get my service. I cancelled because the area is in a sketchy area.. UNSAFE.
