Lovely Tulum beachfront stay
Excellent staff and beautiful beachfront location, with just 16 very nice rooms! Breakfasts at the beachfront restaurant/bar were tasty and cooked to order. Our balcony had a generously sized daybed and very clean plunge pool, heated in the evenings. The hotel is very good about providing clean drinking water in the room -- both cold in the fridge and at room temperature on the counter.

We had the best stay at Ma'xanab in December 2024! The next time we visit Tulum, we would not even think of staying anywhere else... seriously! We stayed for 8 nights, and every morning enjoyed a fresh breakfast that was included in our stay at the hotel. We spent many days on the beach, where we got beach-side food and drink service. The ceviche on their menu was the best we have ever tasted. All of the staff members were incredibly friendly, and helpful in coordinating our different activities during our stay. Our room was beautiful, and so comfortable. The beds were beyond comfortable, and every night we slept so peacefully! If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, and comfortable place to stay, Hotel Ma'xanab is THE place. We were very sad to leave this beach-side paradise.

Das Wetter hat nicht mitgespielt:(
Der Wettergott hat einen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht und uns einen enttäuschenden Aufenthalt beschert :) kein Regen aber dafür sturmartige Winde. Konten den Jacuzzi im Zimmer und den Pool gar nicht nutzen geschweige denn das Meer. Wir hatten das Beach Zimmer Nr. 2 mit direktem Blick aufs Meer und Pool. Das Hotel ist schon super und würde gerne zurück kommen.

The team at the Mx'axanab were fantastic and made our stay in mid November 2024 (10 days) very enjoyable. The hotel is in a great location, is modern in design but with a nod to Mayan culture, and feel like a high end experience. The food and drinks were good quality and reasonable priced when compared to the very high prices on the main restaurant strip. Sunbeds were always available, the beach was immaculate and it was always enjoyable walking on the beach in either direction. The hotel was very quiet at night which was appreciated due to the party atmosphere 10 minutes walk away. The team at the hotel really made the whole trip special, from the front desk team, to the beach and restaurant teams - calling out a few superstars - Mario, Milo, Luis, Luis and Hermelindo. Look no further - we will definitely be back. Everything was perfect from the staff, impeccable service, the rooms, beachfront, food, drinks, location, etc. Anything we needed the staff ensured we had or could get for us. The room came with amazing amenities and included extra things like a Bluetooth speaker, beach ag, etc. Breakfast was included and was phenomenal too! The location is also perfect a short drive everywhere - 6 min to all the upscale restaurants, 6 min to the other side of town and 15 min from downtown Tulum and nearby Cenotes.

We really enjoyed staying here. The staff were very sweet, you just message them on what’s app and they respond quick. They helped us with a lot of recommendations for restaurants, renting atvs, cenote’s and more. The food was excellent, the rooms were always stocked with clean towels and cleaned when asked. We booked the jungle room but could still see the ocean.
