Don’t stay here.

The hotel was “run down” under construction, the room was smelly like pet pee, the ac unit barely worked. The bathroom was dirty. The pool was closed yet was told they had a working pool.

Disgusting, AVOID

Should've known better. Then, I saw the dreaded sign that said...Country Inn & Suites by Radisson this location is independently owned and operated. We tried. Got keys went to room. Before entering room, smell weed, and dogs start barking from multiple rooms. The comforter on the bed was lumpy and did not look clean. Everything was old, broken, and dirty. The toilet didn't flush. I didn't even want to put my bag down. I quickly booked a room elsewhere. Went down to the lobby told them the issues, they said they would switch our room, and I said no. Told him we wanted a refund and would not stay there. Do not stay here. I should clarify. If you don't mind dirty hotels, like to smoke weed, have your barky dogs with you, and enjoy living in squalor stay here. Bonus, they have free breakfast. I'm sure their kitchen is as clean as their rooms. I wouldn't eat there unless I was looking to get dysentery.

Bad bathroom

The fan in the bathroom had no cover and was rusted! Very loud. Did not take a shower because the shower and tub had issues. Plaster to cover a hole on the bottom of the tub was unappealing!

Reserved this place for the pool and found out once we got there that the pool was closed (even though it’s still being promoted). There also was thick dark black hair all in the towels (I’m blonde). Besides that it was fine but not worth the price. I’d just pay a little more for a pool and/or cleaner place

Desperate need of a remodel

We were in town for a volleyball tournament- as in, our daughter played the sport for the weekend. The man at the front desk was super kind and polite. So kind. When we got to our room, it was, well, a hotel room that needs significant updating. Rips in the curtains, dust piled for probably years behind the nightstand, just kinda eww. And, no towels in sight in the bathroom- not even a hand towel to dry hands after washing them. Also, the toilet wouldn’t work. So, I contacted the front desk & the kind man came up. He fixed the toilet in the spot himself-tools and all. He said he’d bring towels “when they got there”. And hour later we received two bath mats, I’m pretty sure. My daughter was less than thrilled. We rested fine - she was exhausted from volleyball & I took cold medicine. We decided to not even look toward the breakfast in the AM.

This facility is simply very run down and would appear it has not had any updates recently. Our room had numerous cosmetic issues such as the bathroom door having had a mirror at one time and the door looked horrible. The bathroom was functional, but not terribly clean and looked over-all unappealing. The beds were comfortable though and the HVAC worked fine. The elevators were not working and the stairwells were dirty and equipment was just laying out in the main floor stair well. The breakfast area was nice and the food was fine. We did have trouble trying to reach the front desk by phone prior to our arrival, but once we arrived the gentleman was very helpful and nice. If you are wanting to save a buck, I would still say this is a safe bet. Just know what you are getting - it's not pretty, but you can get a decent night sleep if you look past the dust.

Low cost but so-so experience

It had a nice room size and furnitures. A/c and heater worked great. But the bed sheet and blankets were very old and dirty looking. It was wairde the man passed you the shower towels when you checked in, aren't they supposed to be stocked in the shower room? The breakfast was a very simple one.

Bad service

During check-in, they handed us the towels. When we went up to the room, we found that the beds had been used, the room hadn’t been cleaned, and the sink was clogged and dirty. We went downstairs, explained the situation, and requested a new room, which they provided. We went back upstairs and entered the new room; however, the situation was the same. There was even a pair of shoes inside, and the beds had human feces stains. We called the staff up again and showed them. They said they would give us a new room, wouldn’t charge us for the stay, and would rectify the situation; however, I haven’t received a refund yet. It was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I believe Hotels.com should monitor such establishments.
