From the moment I checked in, it was hot and the a/c was broken. They sent “engineers”to look and they just changed a filter and left. Some the a/c didn’t begin to cool, then sent another engineer the following day. The the reset the system and told us to wait a few hours. On the third day, a real a/c mechanic determined that the system’s motherboard was shot and it would’ve never began to work. After 3 HOT days, they moved us to another room. The promised to contact me for refunds and NOBODY ever did.

Would have Been 5 stars!! Chexk in was Misleading, If you TELL A Guest U WOULD DO SOMETHING! JUST HONOR WHAT YOU SAY!!! Still Waiting for SOMEONE TO REACH OUT!!! SAD. Valet Parking a TRIP! Our stay started off rough as a 4 o'clock check in time is way to late. Then we get into our room.it always a very nice room I ordered a ocean front view and I got a little bit of a side view ocean so ocean front it was not the king bed had a dip in the mattress on one side and the blow dryer didn't work and the spa which we were so looking forward to was closed due to a water problem which we were very disappointed abt, but other then that it was very nice the people at front desk and concierge the restaurant for all extremely nice. Unfortunately I have no photos to show

There's a lot I can say about this place but rule #1 - don't book through a third party, the hotel treats you like a second class citizen. Booking directly might have bumped my rating up one notch. Rule #2 - don't eat at the restaurant...it was tasteless and reminded me of cafeteria food. Rule #3 - 90% of the staff there had an attitude problem. I found this to be the biggest complaint when re-thiniing about this place which I never want to think about again. Positives were the pool was nice, good water slide, good pool/bar food and the guys that set up your chairs were cool but misleading information (kids area is not free) and the valet fees trump this and you end up spending way more than you should for an average place

No ocean view, phones didn’t work in the room, toilets were backed up, no hot water entire stay. Showers wouldn’t drain. Was told by marriot to contact “luxury suites” with issues . It wasn’t a marriot problem…we called with no response.

The staff and food were excellent. Limited menu and only one restaurant open. No water for 7 hours and no hot water in shower. Somewhat dated decor.

Had a lot of issues with this booking. First, the hotel couldn’t even find my booking on the day of our reservation. Second, our room did not look like the picture. Third, there was no soap or shampoo or conditioner in the showers and when I called Room service to assist they said because it was a privately owned unit that the owner was supposed to provide that and we’re very reluctant to bring some up for us to shower. Generally speaking, the staff was not very helpful overall because they kept saying the unit was privately owned. I’m sorry, but this unit is under the umbrella of Marriott and Marriott needs to take full responsibility for maintaining the unit as well as Taking care of the customer.
