Breathtaking ocean view hotel

The hotel was situated on top of the hill overlooking the ocean and the lighthouse. The views from the hotel were spectacular and amazing. Did I mention breathtaking the staff at the hotel, especially at the reception we’re very kind, helpful and considerate.

Amazing view but …

Stunning view! Hotel has poor access for those with limited mobility. All rooms on second floor with no lift only stairs. Bathroom was stated as shared but to be specific it is a communal bathroom for the whole floor. But the view was amazing and worth the inconvenience.

Great old hotel undergoing renovation. Spectacular position looking over the ocean. Bistro menu was a bit expensive but we enjoyed our meals. Rooms were small and compact: ok for a single night. A few things in the room weren’t quite right - like the fridge in the cupboard being iced up because there was insufficient ventilation. Stay while you can before renovations finish and they start charging gastro pub prices.

If it was cooler it would’ve been great

Rooms were recently renovated but A/C control was not available. Had to pull blinds at night because of lighthouse light so it was quite warm 27c. Food was good as was service in restaurant

Room was clean and comfortable. Shared bathroom I don't mind... but when you're half way through your shower, or sitting on the toilet at night and the lights go out (timed out), it is unacceptably inconvenient. what are you thinking of? Timed lights in showers and toilets are just stupid.

Absolutely fantastic for the price From check in with a lovely young fella who was vwey friendly and helpful. The rooms view was really breathtaking. I can sleep through anything, being a Saturday night with live music it was quite loud but didn’t bother me one bit. Thank you team for great experience all round.

Nice hotel but loud music on Fridays

Beautiful views from the room, but a big note that "some" noise as per the hotel description is loud music till midnight (Friday night). You won't be able to sleep even with earplugs in simply due to the vibrations coming up through the floorboards/walls.
