Er is maar 1 stopcontact beschikbaar, dat is echt niet meer van deze tijd. Verder wordt het water op het dak door de zon verwarmd, dus een verfrissende douche, bij zonnig weer, is niet mogelijk. Verdrr is de ligging wel ok omdat eg een MRT station op 100m ligt en is ook de straat ver genoeg om geen last van het verkeer te hebben. Ik raad ook aan om de deluxe kamer te nemen. Die lijken mij wel up to date te zijn qua stopcontacten
The hotel is kind of old. But I found the room clean and comfortable. The internet connection was excellent too. Close to so many minimarts, street vendors, a hair salon, a local market and a Big C Superstore is just across the street. You can go there using a connecting bridge. It is also easy to fetch a cab. I also found that Grab can find this hotel very easily. But it is quite far from tourist attractions like Pratunam or Chatuchak.

Real Thai people area
Clean room recently renovated, good value for money, very busy big road Lad prao, good area
to experience real Thai people living and sreeet business, fantastic market area Ban Kapi ca 4 km
from hotel, if lucky with traffic only 20 min from BKK airport via toll roads
Synsiri 2 is not a hotel, it is an apartment building that rents out extra rooms. MOst Thai's are extremely helpful but the staff there were nice but once you were checked in you got no more service. Wifi is extra but not really that expensive. I can speak Thai so I had no real problems but I was put off that they wouldn't even call me a taxi so I had to lug my bags out to Lad Prao street to catch one. The biggest problem here was actually finding the place. It is not on soi 13. It is on near Soi 98 but look for the sign that says 98/1. Oh it is behind the petrol station. The sign for Synsiri 2 is in Thai so ask your taxi driver to help find it. Otherwise it was a great price.

Poor customer service
Staff are lack of english skills. Can't seems to get basic request through. The dryer does nit work but was told it does. Had no other way of drying our clothes except the varendah. Housekeeping staff ended up taking my travelling pillow. Had to explain myself to the staff to get it back. Was questioned about a missing floor mat that we never got. Staff provided a taxi driver who failed to get us to our destination even after he spoke with a staff there before we start our journey. I asked if he knew the way and he said yes. Was going to charge us 400 baht eventhough hwe didn't get to where we wanted to go. Really bad for the hotel business. Hotel should provide tourist brochures and maps of bangkok and thailand.
