Very satisfied

Top floor but worth climbing the stairs to apartment 8 for. Clean and well equipped. Bedroom at rear so quiet. No air conditioning which would have been useful but a large fan in the bedroom certainly helped. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Great place and had a great stay --- but I had trouble getting the key from the safe, since the code had been changed the same day without my being notified. Had to call and get the new code.

Fantastic stay in Notting Hill

I loved the flat. It was very comfortable. The only thing it was lacking was a hair dryer. Apart from that, it was perfect.

Missing Mttress

Company failed to notify me that confirmed room was unava[lable. Called them the day of departure from US, because they had not responded to two prior emails requesting entry info. Was told room at portobello one was not available. After some prodding offered to put me up the first night at Swiss Cottage Two, then transfer for remaining stay to Portobello Two. Swiss cottage was considerable distance from Portobello One. Had to make last minute changes for transport from Heathrow. Next day taxied to Portobello one to pick up key for entrance at Portobello Two. Key not there, Called company and awd told to walk 5 minutes to P.two and maid would let me ein. The walk is actually more like 15Min. Maid not there, but did appear after a phone call. Room not ready, dropped bag, then had to return to P one later to pick up key and walk back to P two. All properties were clean, but had no mattresses, but instead had thin mattress topper on top of box spring.

homely, quiet and spacious hide out in London

This is a very homely and cozy apartment on the top level. It was very quiet and spacious and had a great view. I was very impressed with the apartment for the price. No check in service so make sure you are organised. The only criticism is the check in method that requires sending details via emails. This seems backward in this internet age. Having said this, we had no problems with our last minute booking and q apartments were very prompt and organized. Check out Fez Mengal restaurant nearby. Very cool! Overall very happy. Would certainly stay again.

The location of this hotel is amazing. Just 4 minutes on foot to Portobello Road and all its amazing shops, restaurants, and markets, and 3 minutes to Ladbroke Grove tube station which gave us easy access to the rest of the city. The apartment itself is nice, well-furnished, and was very clean for our stay. In our particular unit, the bed is in a loft space with extremely low ceilings, which is accessed by quite steep stairs. Being four months pregnant, this was inconvenient, the bathroom being at the bottom of the stairs, and a bit treacherous. I wish they'd give you an option of lofted unit or no. The bathroom was nice, but the shower never held hot water for more than 4 minutes at a time, and took a long while to regenerate, which was awful when more than one person wanted to shower in the morning. Overall, though, it was a nice place to spend a couple of nights, and it was a nice feature to have a kitchen to heat up leftovers or have a snack. There's also a washer/dryer combo machine in the kitchen which came in handy. Be aware, though, that this is not a 'normal' hotel - there is no concierge or receptionist, and therefore no luggage storage. They will accommodate early check-in/late check-out at a rather exorbitant rate.

The incorrect room was given to me at check in meaning i had to move location to another building up the road, with all my bags, pregnant, on my own! This apartment wasn't clean and when I called to complain I spoke to a lady called Eva at Q apartments who was extremely rude to me. I won't be staying there again!

Hotel confortevole e pulito

Appartamento perfetto, ampio e confortevole, ristrutturato di recente, pulito, con un bel bagno. Unico neo la collocozione del letto nel soppalco di circa un metro e mezzo di altezza che crea qualche problema, di testate nel soffitto e di caldo la notte se non si spenge il riscaldamento. Nelle immediate vicinanze ci sono molti ristoranti italiani in cui il cibo è veramente ottimo anche se non a poco prezzo. La fermata della metro è a due passi. Il quartiere è pulito, silenzioso e tranquillo. Il fatto che il chekin sia unmanned (vi viene comunicato un codice per aprire il portone ed uno per aprire una piccola cassafore nell'ingresso che contiene la chiave, tipo caccia al tesoro), mette un po' di ansia all'arrivo ma tutto è filato liscio.

Great location for a stay in London

Clean, comfortable and well equipped (mostly), perfect for a couple of days away. Positives - the really central location, minutes from the tube, pubs and restaurants. Negatives - very low ceiling hight in the sleeping area, unable to stand upright and very steep stairs with very narrow tread, unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems. Shower ran out of hot water very quickly. The hot water did not last long enough for two people to have a hot shower, or for one person to wash their hair! Whilst the kitchen was mostly well equipped there was no tin opener.

ωραία τοποθεσία, κοντά στο μετρό, καθαρά δωμάτιο πρόσφατα ανακαινισμένο το ζεστό νερό τελείωνε γρήγορα και αργούσε να ξαναζεσταθεί, το ταβάνι στον πάνω όροφο ήταν χαμηλό και έπρεπε να σκύβει κανείς για να μην χτυπήσει

Beställt extrasäng men fick ingen. Sängen fanns under soffan men madrassen var riktigt sunkig och äcklig. Några lakan fanns inte. Hjälp gick inte att få förrän andra dagen

Not a good experience!

Do not book last minute, it takes approx 24 hours to get the info you need to get into the building, in fact ours never arrived. There is no reception, so if you have a problem it's not easy to solve. We had no hot water and no bathroom light...

Nice place, poor detail.

Room was nice and quite large, but on the ground floor at street level, the noise was really bad. The heavy door, combined with single glazed windows meant that a good nights sleep was not on the card. Also, there was no hairdryer, quite an oversight.
