Lovely clean and welcoming hotel. Decent size rooms and spacious balconies facing west over the med but getting sun most of the day. Family run for 60 years , Clara and her staff are great.

Decent hotel. Large room, however terrace was not private, but shared with other guests. Slightly misleading from hotels.com. Otherwise, breakfast was good, as was location to town.

La struttura è in una posizione incantevole, dalla quale si può ammirare in tutto il suo fascino la baia ed il Monte Sant'Angelo. Altra particolarità da sottolineare è il ristorante annesso e l'elevata qualità delle pietanze, specie quelle a base di pesce. La cosa che non mi è piaciuta è che fra le carte di credito utilizzabili,non dispongono dell'American Express.

Sant' Angelo was our favorite place on the island. Only pedestrians, no cars. Taxi drops you off and you walk a short distance to Hotel Casa Celestino. Hotel staff extremely accommodating. Ferries and small boats take you to excursions. Room was spotless and view on balcony was wonderful! Great restaurants nearby. Beach is walking distance from hotel.

Classy but comfortable
All rooms have spacious balconies facing west to the sea, large shared terrace on top floor, but no lift. However staff very helpful with bags on arrival for those needing it. Room facilities good but basic, good comfortable bed, mini bar (but no price list, so check). Rooms cleaned and reset meticulously every day.

overall good but, a few niggles.....
overall good value for money. on the plus side.... excellent location, superb balcony / terrace, nice well appointed and immaculately clean room, helpful staff. On the downside... breakfast was only 'satisfactory' and, unfortunately, the daily early morning emptying of the bins (between 06:00-07:00 every morning) was very noisy .... coupled with a somewhat hard bed led to not the best sleep....

Great family run hotel
Lovely family run hotel in a great spot in Sant’Angelo. Breakfast great. Beautiful view from the terrace. Breakfast was lovely. Room authentic Italian chic. Comfortable bed good quality linen. Like a lot of this part of Italy it’s hilly without parking on the doorstep but this is part of its charm.

Lovely hotel, lovely location.
Hotel Casa Celestino is located in an amazing spot and we had a room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Sant Angelo is on the southern part of the island, and we thought it was the loveliest part of Ischia.

We'll Be Back!
Carla and her whole team, especially Francesca and Pierre-Carlo, could not have been nicer or more helpful. A couple of minor glitches in the room were fixed perfectly and immediately. We wanted for nothing and they all were eager to make suggestions and reservations and give directions about anything and everything in Ischia. The hotel is lovely, immaculate, and perfectly taken care of. Our room was big and bright, with a nice-sized terrace overlooking the sea and beautiful Sant’Angelo. Our only caveat would be to avoid the restaurant for dinner. Although the food was good, the service was atrocious. We were shocked because the service was so great in the hotel but then we learned that the restaurant is independently run and really has nothing to do with the hotel. There were quite a few stairs, but absolutely no problem for us. The staff saw to it that our bags were in our room when we came back from lunch to check in, and, of course, were brought down when it was time to leave. What a lovely and peaceful village, especially because there are no cars allowed. We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect hotel
I was extremely satisfied with this hotel. The setting was beautiful, room was clean, comfortable and amazing views of the sea. The beach in Sant Angelo is ok but you can walk 15 minutes or get a water taxi to much better beaches. Sun beds are generally 10euros per bed and the water quality is good. There are limited restaurants in Sant Angelo so can walk down to the next beach where is is a great restaurant overlooking the sea. The staff are helpful in the hotel but don't offer any information you have to ask. One thing we did take advantage of was the spa pool in their sister hotel which you can use for free.

Beautiful position in a lovely part of Ischia
We stayed at Celestino for 2 nights in July, a very busy time in Ischia. The hotel's excellent position made it easy to navigate the village and we never felt overwhelmed by the crowds. The staff at the hotel is amazing. They went out of their way to help, even providing advice of remedies to soothe a stomach flu that my husband had. The balconies over the sea are the best! Would definitely return.
