We stayed at Arthur Hotel in Jerusalem from January 18 for 3 nights. After spending several days on online searching, I selected this hotel, based on the excellent reviews of online travel sites. Now I feel confident that I made a right decision because what the hotel provided was beyond my expectation, which was a pleasant surprise for me. When you set a bar too high at the beginning, you usually end up being disappointed. This wasn’t the case for Arthur Hotel. They made our first visit to Jerusalem comfortable, happy and memorable.
All the staff of Arthur Hotel were kind and helpful; everybody from the reservation office to the front desk, waiters, housekeeping, and etc. They were friendly, attentive and trying the best they could to cater to the needs of their guests. Even before booking the room online, the reservation staff sent me a reply promptly to answer each of my questions carefully and provide necessary information. They made every effort to accommodate our request, even arranging a private tour to make the most of our limited time. The private driver, Shuki was amazing! He was knowledgeable, flexible and informative with a lot of experiences. I recommend him if you need a private driver.
If I have to say something negative, I wish more hot meals had been available in the morning. As many people commented, their breakfast was good and delicious. But it was winter and very cold in the morning, so it would have been nice if we had been able to have more hot meal
