The hotel facilities were excellent, the bedding was comfortable, and the staff were friendly. However, despite their kindness, the overall service was disappointing. About an hour after checking in, we went to the pool but had to leave because there were no available seats. When we tried to use our complimentary cocktail vouchers at the bar, we were told it wouldn’t reopen until the evening. A staff member at the bar mentioned that the vouchers could be used for room service, but when we called to confirm, we were told otherwise. Additionally, since it was Christmas, we were informed that using the vouchers at the bar required ordering a meal. While this was understandable, it would have been much better if these details had been communicated in advance. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was satisfying. However, considering the hotel’s size and reputation, the lack of organisation was disappointing, and the overall value for money fell short of expectations.
