This was my second time visiting this property, and unfortunately, it didn’t meet the expectations I had from my first stay. This time, I brought my lady along to share the experience, but it didn’t go as planned.
First, there was no clear instruction or access to phone service, when we checked in, which was frustrating. On top of that, we had plumbing issues—specifically with the toilet. It was very difficult to flush, especially when using it for a number two. I’m not sure if that’s a common issue in Jamaica, but it definitely impacted our comfort.
The cleanliness of the room was also disappointing. I noticed lime buildup and rust around the sink, toilet, and faucet, which showed that housekeeping wasn’t as thorough as it should be. From what I saw, all they really did was change the sheets and sweep the floors, and even that wasn’t done properly.
I made a couple of complaints, including that the balcony door was broken. Thankfully, someone came to fix it by the second day. However, there was no iron in the room upon arrival, which I believe should be a standard amenity.
Overall, I’d rate this stay a 4 out of 10. Definitely not what I expected based on my first visit.
