Waited 30 mins for service in the restaurant. Then left with no service.

It was a really nice stay. The staff were very accommodating the room was comfortable and clean. There is a restaurant/bar in the hotel and that is convenient. Would recommend.

Was looking forward to the stay, however arrived at 5:45 and told that room may not be ready. Room was okay bit old, plug ins were hit & miss to work, bathroom was a BIG disappointment- shower was for a 5toot tall person, towels were sandpaper and thin, and the toiletries were lacking. No shampoo.

The room was comfortable, only thing missing was cream for morning coffee. The reason for our stay was to visit Butchart Gardens, so the location was good for that. The food in the Resturant was also good. No complaints. Cheers.

About the bare minimum acceptable before walking out. Dirty bathroom - soap scum is one thing but someone else’s facial trimmings along the counter is pretty bad. Tv didn’t work. Carpets are quite icky. Most concerning was the front desk. We both forgot our keys in the room and when we went to the desk to ask for another, we were simply asked for what room (no ID, no name) and we’re given a key. Bit of a safety concern there imo.

Well, both the ice machine and the pop machine were out of order on the second floor so that was disappointing.

I found the check in questions way too personal and i felt uncomfortable.

Restaurant needs to improve menu And quality.

We found the room not very clean, hairs in the bathtub. And it was advertised as free parking, but when we checked in, we were told we had to pay extra for parking. But at least the bed was comfortable.

Even though we arrived after 3pm (checkin time) we had to wait over 20 mins for our room to be ready. We had chosen this hotel because it had a restaurant - we were told on checkin that the restaurant was closed due to an event. I was surprised we were not informed ahead of time as they had my email. Also the pool was closed for the "winter" even though it was 18 degrees and sunny.
