Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Location is decent—convenient enough for getting around. Our room itself was spacious, which was great for our family. However, the bathroom was a major letdown.
There was a persistent foul smell coming from the toilet area, possibly from the drainage, even when the toilet wasn’t in use. The bathtub was in such poor condition that even our young kids, who look forward to bubble baths, refused to. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was shockingly filthy—with a visible, thick layer of dust. I’ve stayed in hotels around the world and have never seen such an obvious buildup of dirt in a bathroom. Then there’s the blackout shade, which was unbelievably difficult to operate. It took so much effort to pull it up or down that we gave up completely and just left it down for our entire stay. That meant no natural daylight in the room at all. Bedside wall lamps were so loose they would sway even with the slightest nudge from a pillow.
Overall, this property unfortunately did not live up to the 4-star standard. I’d rate it closer to a 3-star experience. Unless significant improvements are made—especially in the bathrooms—I’d likely consider other nearby hotels for future stays.
