長旅の疲れを癒せます。

メイヨークリニックへの留学のセットアップのためにここに泊まりました。 ダウンタウンと新居との間ということで選びました。 宿泊費も高いだけあり、キレイでした。 朝ごはん付きというこどでしたが、中身はマフィン、ベーグルなどのパン、スクランブルエッグ、ハンバーグ的なものでした。 しかし飲み物は充実していました。 そしてコーヒーはいつでも取り放題でした。 部屋は以外とキレイでした。滞在しやすいホテルで、長旅の後に一息つくには非常に良い選択だと思います。

Friendly Staff, Dirty Rundown Room

We recently stayed at this Staybridge Suites and were unfortunately disappointed with the condition of our room. On a positive note, the staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the public/common areas of the hotel were clean and well-kept. However, the cleanliness and upkeep of our room were far below expectations. There were multiple cleanliness issues including crusty stains on the couch, dusty cobwebs in the corners and ceiling, a stained trundle mattress, and a large hairball on the bathroom floor from a previous guest. We also found dried toothpaste on the wallpaper by the bathtoom sink, pink bacterial buildup in the shower, and garbage (including food and coins) under the couch when we pulled the trundle out. The bathroom flooring was severely warped and spongey, and we encountered 2 large spiders and more established webs in the bathroom near the ceiling. Additionally, getting from the front door to the parking lot required walking through the smoking area, which was very unpleasant especially with a child who has asthma. We’ve had good experiences at other Staybridge Suites in different cities, which made this stay all the more disappointing. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this location due to the poor cleanliness and lack of maintenance of our room.

Not the standard of a Marriott

We were at the hotel due to a medical procedure at St. Mary’s Hospital. We arrived at the front desk to check in and had to wait 15 minutes for the clerk to get off the phone to check in the long line of people that had been standing there waiting. After we checked into our room we went over to the hospital without really looking at the condition of the room. We did notice, however, when we dropped our luggage in the room that it was extremely musty smelling, I compared it to the smell of smelly feet, but we didn’t have time to tell the clerk about it because we had to get over to the hospital for the procedure. When we returned to the room after a long day of waiting at the hospital, we found the room smelling even worse. We went to use the sink in the bathroom and there was water sitting in it, and we could not get the plug to open to drain it. After struggling with it for quite some time, we did get it open, but had to keep it held open with a lid from a coffee cup. Black disgusting stuff gurgled up out of the drain once we got it open. We decided not to use the sink at all because it was not draining as it should’ve. We tried calling the front desk, six times to let them know about the sink in case they wanted us to move rooms, but no one answered the phone. We used the sink in the area by the coffee maker to brush your teeth and wash our face. In the morning when we went to use the shower, we also discovered that the shower would not drain properly either.

Recommendations

I would recommend a few changes to the room. We had to stay for a total of 2 weeks. We had appointments for the Mayo Clinic. I would recommend the upper cabinets are put in for extended stays, a place to store groceries. I would also recommend that the Tv stand is replaced with a dresser so families can unpack suit cases for extended stays and not live out of their suitcases. Front desk service was outstanding. Christine( asst gm) was absolutely a sweetheart. Myself and my fiancé had to visit due to him being diagnosed with cancer. She didn’t even know us and stated that if we needed anything to please let her know. That truly meant a lot. We have never been to Minnesota and the stay and people have been wonderful.

This hotel was clean and close to the Mayo Clinic. The people were nice. I would stay there again. It was a little disappointing the hot tub was out of order. Also, the market was okay but it would have been nice to have self check out for the Market.

We stayed here for an appt at the Mayo Clinic. It was nice not to have to figure out where we had to park or where to go for the appointment. A Van picked us up and dropped us off at the building we needed and we didn’t have to wait long for a ride back to the hotel when we were done. Breakfast was good and hotel staff helpful.

Would not recommend-the pictures are deceiving. Rooms are small and unclean. We checked in at 11:30 at night and even though we were exhausted we ended up loading up our kids and finding a new hotel-any parent understands what it would take to make a decision like that so late. We were charged for the night even though we did not stay-Expedia tried to get us our money back but hotel would not budge. We will never even attempt to stay at a SpringHill hotel again.
