ウィンダミア湖からほど近い素敵な民宿
エディンバラから南に下る途中でお世話になりました。 とても素敵なスタッフ（夫婦）が迎えて頂いたおかげで、快適な時間を過ごすことが出来ました。 朝食も非常に美味しくて、その後のウィンダミア観光を充実したものになりました。 どうもありがとうございました。

Cute, cosy & clean
This was my fisrt solo trip staying away on my own. The room was perfect and i felt right at home as soon as i entered. Just what i needed after a day of hiking. I can't fault this hotel one bit even if i wanted to. I was so impressed and will be booking again in the future.

Hidden Gem in the Lakes.
Fantastic stay at this lovely family ran B&B. Check in was a breeze and communicated clearly via email. Plenty of parking on site and a short 2 minute walk to the local village pub which did home cooked meals. Clean well equipped room with a very comfy bed. Pre order breakfast the evening before via booking slip at reception. Breakfast the following day was freshly cooked and served by a friendly and efficient member of the team. Well worth a stop over if you’re in the lakes and fancy a night or two getaway but still close enough to exploring the local area including Keswick.

Our one night stay.
Would be very happy to stay there again. Value for money with lovely breakfast. Happy friendly atmosphere. Would benefit from shelving in bathroom to put your wash bags on. Also a table/dressing table for ladies to do makeup and hair etc. (Room 5)

Good stay and would return
Nice stay and would go back. Clean, simple room with comfy beds. Warm enough with a big radiator. Good hot shower. Seems enough parking for a car per room. Breakfast was great, with good coffee and attentive staff. 20 minute flat walk into keswick if needed. Be warned, the walls in the rooms are paper thin, to the extent of hearing neighbouring rooms talking, flushing toilets etc. Thanfully for our stay the hotel was "settled" by just after 9 and it was ok. I'd recommend taking earplugs incase of a noisy adjoinong room or you'll be in for a rough night. Dissapointingly guests cannot use the electric car charger which would have saved us a hassle of charging in keswick to get home. We would have obviously been happy to pay aswell, sure this could change as demand increases. Easy acces to hotel which was communicated via email.

The property seriously needs TLC or a maintenance person bathroom missing 2 light bulbs dark. Shower sealant mouldy. Paintwork on wall marked damp where you hang your clothes surrounding around property not maintained breakfast you could have swam in the oil on the plate and the black pudding smelt off to the extent we decided to avoid breakfast the next morning would not recommend this propy

Lacks atmosphere on arrival, self check in. Property feels run down and tired looking, entrance overgrown, back garden overgrown. Breakfast average and served between 8-9am which is very early. Comfy beds, walls very thin could hear other guests talking to each other. Not good value for money. Wouldnt return.

Very tired and unkempt. The outside area is not nice at all. The room was small and cheaply decorated. Needs new skirting boards and interior door to bring it up to a better standard. The sealant round the shower is a mess, as is some of the grouting. Couldn’t get the smart tv to work. Cheap breakfast with small portions. We really wished we had not booked this hotel.

Outstanding service. A real gem of a place.
Absolutely outstanding service and very comfortable room. Everything was clean, the view from the room was 180 degrees of mountains, the food was amazing. But the highlight for me was being served breakfast by the two young sons of the owners, ages maybe 10-14? They were courteous, respectful, hardworking, and did an excellent job. I absolutely LOVE seeing young men engaging with society at that age in such a positive way. A hearty "well done" to the boys and to the parents who are training them. I highly recommend Rickerby Grange to everyone.

Single room review
Booked a single room. It was very small but had sole use of a nice bathroom. Felt room needed a bit more colour and items to make it feel more cosy as everything was white/clinical. Breakfast was lovely. Some fresh fruit salad/berries would have been nice to add. Owners were great and responded to messages immediately. Overall nice hotel, good location, easy walk into Keswick

1. Personal service was a joke; for the 1st 3 days of our stay, the only staff we saw were the 3 teenage sons who delivered breakfast; no welcome or follow up until day 4 of our stay. 2. The bathroom was tiny with a 30" shower module filling most of the space. 3. Free toiletries was a single bottle of hand soap; a bottle of shower gel appeared a day after a phone call to the owner; we bought our own hair shampoo, etc. 4. The mattress was well past it's prime: soft and ridged. 5. Security was a joke with the "secure code" sent a day before arrival also being posted on the outside of the front door. 6. Overall a thoroughly misleading description of the facilities and services provided.

Fabulous!
Fabulous little accommodation, less than 10 min to Keswick. Clean, comfortable room. Great selection of food for breakfast. Quiet surroundings and a view of the lush hills. Couldn't of asked for anything better.
