Great location
Terrific location, with restaurants all around and near a metro station. Rooms are air conditioned and beds comfortable. The manager (owner?) I spoke with answered all questions.

Bathrooms need fixed and floors need cleaned
Floors need a good clean, bathrooms okay for cleanliness but need repair work! For two days there was no hot water in the shower, one WC had a leaking hose, another WC did not flush and the third had a broken handle so you could not fully close the door. Location good, staff are helpful. Bedroom CRAMPED with too little storage & a broken locker that still wasn't fixed four days after staff said they would do it. It's an alright hostel but not great. Would stay again if I had to but would not be my first choice.

The location of the hotel is really convenient, you can also view KL tower from the guest house. Very close to chinatown and hotel staff was very polite. Worth the stay and money.

SUDOguesthouse is situated around 15min walk from the beach. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. There wasn't a key for the bedroom so I was worrying that somebody can enter the room any time.

I required lower bed, but I did not. A blanket is too small that not enough when the air conditioner is too cool. I cannot adjust temperature due to many people in the room.

Icon the Cartoon Hostel
Crazy place. Staff would leave the property for hours and leave a guest in charge! The guest would have access to all your billing information. Then the staff became unfriendly if you complained about this behavior or dirty customers who would leave their soiled clothes everywhere. Would not clean rooms daily. Plastic water bottles would stay for days. Undesirables would stay weeks at this hostel because they could control the facility. Very weak management who would not enforce reasonable manners. You will leave with a bad experience in KL.

Nice place!
Really comfortable and clean hostel. The guy doing the cleaning is so good, he is washing everything every day. The area is good and close to Chinatown and also Jalan Alor. The bus going to the airport leaves close to also.

Worth enough for budget hostel
Overall this hostel is worth enough for a budget hostel. I only payed for around $5. But the wall is not permanent so when people at the next door open the door quite loudly, it'll wake you up hahahaha. But it's okay for me since the price is so low. And the receptionist is so nice!

Convenient hostel
This is a nice cool hostel with a spacious and big common area, walking distance to 7/11 and a shop just opposite where you can dine in for just less than $3. However, there are a lot of mosquitoes and the toilet is rather dirty so hopefully this can be improved on.

Has a very basic kitchen, which is nice, could be a little better. When it comes to making simple meals it works fine. The larger rooms can sometimes be a little packed for the size. Then again it’s a hostel so, that is why it is such a bargain.
