Great room, plenty roomy for working with your luggage. The bed isn’t the most comfortable but in general not bad at all. The washroom doesn’t have a lock on it so it’s best shared with someone you’re very comfortable with. Cleanliness overall is great.
It’s true that the hallways have a weird odor but I don’t find the smell to linger nor permeate into the rooms themselves.
There is one aspect I really enjoyed with this hotel is that when you don’t ask for room cleaning they literally do not ever step into your room. This means that they won’t refill your consumable amenities like tea and instant coffee, but you can grab some in the lobby anyway. You can just leave garbage bags outside the room too.
The one thing that came to a surprise to me (this being Kaohsiung) because I didn’t think I’d ever need it… but there’s just no heating, only AC. So in colder months it can be a little cold in the room.
Overall I did enjoy the hotel a lot!
