Not the most ghetto place I’ve stayed unfortunately but it’s definitely a contender for the number 2 spot. Front desk man literally said “ID?” To me when I walked in to check in, took it and gave me a key and then went back to sitting on his phone. No other words exchanged.
The room itself had a bed and a bathroom, barely a sink. The heat didn’t work and there was barely a sheet on the bed so we had to go buy a blanket for our stay. The bathtub had this rancid bath mat in the bottom that squished out mold water when you stepped on it. There was bugs and crusties and hair all over the floor like they hadn’t cleaned at all. The bed frame was a couch pullout?? Without the couch part?????? Bed sheet had cigarette holes in it. There was a weird what looked like blood splatter across one of the walls, and the bathroom floor was all jacked up like they were mid remodel. The bathroom door had like 1000 screws in it like someone had kicked it in and they just put it back together instead of replacing it.
The neighborhood is also ghetto as hell, drug dealers literally everywhere, we were asked multiple times if that’s what we were there for. Witness an actual prostitution hookup which was wild, and people were getting high in the parking lot in their cars at all hours. Did not feel safe AT ALL.
The house keeper lady was really nice though so that was cool. 0/10 don’t go here.
