It's a wonderful town full of history. The views of the Pyrenees are beautiful, it feels like a town that is loved, it is zinging with young people, the restaurants and bars are bustling, the shops are good. A hidden gem in plain sight.

Pau is a gem of a town that I would really hope to revisit sometime. The people could not have been kinder to me when I had my fall breaking my wrist. They were accepting of my poor basic French.
"Quality of bed linens and matress excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Large choice of local produce for self serviice breakfast. Many coffee options. Bathrooms very clean. Plenty of parking."
"We really enjoyed our stay. The reception was welcoming, offered tourist information and recommended restaurants which we went to and enjoyed. The free secure parking was appreciated. The room was clean and spacious and had everything we required. We did not hear any street noise. The location was very accessible to walk to the tourist sights that we visited. We would stay there again. "
