"Excellent boutique hotel, very clean and comfortable. Very personable and helpful staff. Great location, in a quiet neighborhood, but less than 10 minute walk to the Inner Harbor, the starting point for most areas of interest in downtown Victoria. And a walk in the opposite direction of the Inner Harbor leads to a nice waterfront walk to Fisherman’s Wharf. We would have no hesitation in returning to this little gem, in a future trip."
"Our yearly fishing weekend. Always a pleasure, the new dock is fantastic and restaurant and bar excellent, ( Sasha is a super professional waiter and is always checking, without being intrusive.)
Also, had the pool and the hot tub to ourselves for the most part Balcony rooms are great if weather forecast is good. Rooms are large, beds are super comfy. All in all, a great weekend:))( and the fishing was good too:))"
"This is an older property that has clearly had some recent renovations. The bathrooms were a standout — clean, bright, and updated. Check-in and check-out were both quick and hassle-free, which I really appreciated.
The location is very convenient, especially with the #70 bus stopping right outside. Free Wi-Fi and parking were also a nice bonus. The A/C unit worked well and kept the room comfortable throughout my stay.
On the downside, I couldn’t get the TV to work, which was a bit frustrating. Also, the carpets could really use a deep cleaning — they were noticeably worn. That said, everything else was clean and well-maintained.
Overall, a solid place to stay. If the carpets were refreshed, this would be an easy five-star recommendation."
