Be wary- many reviews are not as they seem
I always read reviews before booking, however, there were just as many 10/10's as bad reviews. Those 10/10's has to be family & friends. No way they are travelers. The staff was nice. The room was clean as far as i could tell, bed was fairly comfortable, but carpet is old and had a strip missing between rooms, walls were bare, smelled musty, 32" TV,. We almost left to go find another place, but decided to stay because it did appear clean. And funds were not favorable to do so. Parking area is suspect, pool looked ok. We didnt complain, because there was nothing that could be done...except leave. We didnt even shower here... Just know that this is a bare minimum motel. A solid 2 or 3/10 type review.

Good location
This is not a fancy place, but has clean comfortable rooms. There’s a fridge in the room and the beds are comfy. The staff was friendly and helpful and there is continental breakfast in the office. A short drive to restaurants, bars, and shopping. A bit worn but still ok place to stay.

Old but clean….
Very last minute overnight stay in the area. We took the chance and made a reservation as the price was right. Older motel and it was rundown but clean! Desk staff was accommodating to our last minute request/need. We would stay there again if needed.

Absolutely wonderful
Check in was easy, we stayed for 3 nights. Our room was super clean, every time we left in the morning we came back to clean towels, trash taken out, floors swept and mopped. Smelled so fresh. Pool is very clean. Small limited breakfast/snacks items that were perfect to start the morning. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I highly recommend. The price is perfect if you don’t care about resort amenities. We came to explore not spend time in our room. Can’t wait to come back in May.

The owner was so nasty to us, acted like this was a 4star property when in fact it was decrepit, filthy, toilet tank didn’t have a cover. There were cobwebs and bugs, the bed had hair in it. The chair looked like it was moldy. Terrible.

Ungepflegtes Motel direkt am Highway
Das Motel ist in die Jahre gekommen, in den 60ern war das vielleicht mal modern. Aber jetzt gibt es offene Dübel in der Wand, abfallender Putz, gerissene Fliesen oder eine ungepflegte Aussenanlage. Das Wasser in der Dusche ist nur lauwarm, wenigstens gibt es kostenlosen Kaffee, aber nicht mal Toast zum Frühstück. Am schlimmsten ist, dass das Motel direkt am Highway liegt, es ist so, als wenn man direkt im Auto am Highway schlafen würde. Lichtblick ist nur das saubere, komfortable Bett.

Nous étions venus à Key Largo pour nous détendre, en payant le prix fort nous fiant aux photos sur hôtels.com, accueil très froid, petit-déjeuner nul, pas de choix, cake sous plastique et rien d’autre, aucun service, nous n’avons vu personne sur place, le bâtiment censé être en réfection, mais son délabrement pose questions, à 3 mètres de la route principale très fréquentée, en revanche le personnel de chambre super sympa et efficace.

While the property is somewhat old, the rooms have been updated with new flooring and beds. Very close to the highway, so traffic noise is a disadvantage. When I opened a dresser drawer, something live inside the drawer quickly scampered away (not sure if it was a roach or a small lizard ). However, rooms are spayed weekly to control bugs. Free continental breakfast is a plus and staff is very friendly and accommodating. Not a very "romantic" location, but a good value.
