We stayed for 7 nights. At our arrival, the reception lady warmly welcomed, brought us to the room, explained for facilities, told us that we can ask for the additional supplies such as coffee etc, if we want. Next day, I asked some, she put them into our room while we are out.
At the 3rd day, though the housekeeping had done, bath amenities weren't supplemented, so I asked the reception for providing them and also coffee/tea bags etc. The man at the reception said " Supplies will be replenished at the time of the housekeeping, after 2 nights, and the welcome drinks are once as guests usually buy them, though I can give you them now" . I explained him that the reception lady, when I just arrived, told me that I can ask for the supplies. But he repeated "I CAN GIVE YOU, but the welcome drinks are once." he gave me some of them, but not for 5 more nights.
Before I booked, I found an answer on the site from the Manager "Our 24 hour reception team are happy to provide additional supplies on request throughout your stay. " to a review to regret about not enough tea bags. So it was really odd to be told like that by him.
Anyway I didn't want to ruin my holiday by such worthless sarcasm any more, I managed not to go to the reception, though there were some problems.
I politely suggest putting the price list of the supplies for some guests who want a coffee/tea in their own room rather than in the cafe in the lobby, since it is hard to get over character of a cynic.
