I booked a room last minute for some rest after a long trip. The property’s first building looked vacant, which made it feel rundown. The hotel is older, but Angel at the front desk was amazing – his customer service was great.
My husband has a disability, and we were placed on the second floor, only to find out there were no elevators. It wasn’t ideal, but we managed. I wish they had mentioned the $100 hold upfront – it can take up to 10 days to be refunded.
When we entered the room, the bleach smell was overwhelming. We had to leave and run the AC for five hours until it cleared. I’m asthmatic, so it was hard to breathe.
Later, the toilet wouldn’t flush. Angel sent David to fix it, and it seemed fine by 10 PM. But at 1 AM, it stopped working again. With no plunger available, they offered a room switch at 3 AM, which wasn’t realistic. We had to go downstairs to use the restroom for the rest of the night.
Despite the issues, the breakfast was great with plenty of options.
