The property is perfectly situated for a fun night in Frankfurt. The city has a serious homelessness problem and this hotel's central location puts that problem in full view however it also puts some of the fun aspects of this city front and center as well. The hotel itself is very attractive and the rooms are well appointed. My only gripe is that a steady clanging noise started in my room at 5 AM that kept me up for nearly an hour, then it stopped and I was able to fall back asleep. I recorded the noise and showed it to the front desk attendant in the morning. It obviously came from some electronic or mechanical system in the walls or ceiling, in other words, not from the outside. She apologized and that was that. I would have expected a better response from an Autograph Collection property considering that it did negatively impact the only thing I was there to do, which was sleep after a long flight from the US. The attendant was apologetic and went over to speak to someone who looked managerial, who quickly dismissed my complaint and waved her off. A simple conversation and apology from the manager would have been enough in the moment as I was not looking for anything other than an acknowledgment of the problem and commitment to find it and fix it. This type of attitude from a manager means that I will not likely stay here again.
